Waking up to the Columbia Maryland blizzard was like awakening to a white, blanketed, pristine wonderland. The quiet (before the plows, snowblowers and shovels) is like no other "sound".![]()
On the left,
Jack (my 3 year old Standard Poodle) is loving this weather! He sticks his whole head into the snow (don't know why!) and jumps around like
a gazelle.
Luke (my 12 year old Standard Poodle) doesn't like to get ice balls in his paws... therefore the booties! He's not as fond of the snow as Jack, but he does seem to enjoy it, too.

Beautiful pictures. I have a Pekingese that loves the snow. I couldn't get him back out of the snow drifts this morning. He is like a kid in a candy store.
Thanks Jason. Your Peke and Jack would have a great time in it together !
Cute booties~ My IGs HATE cold. I am threatening the cranky old man that he will have to get boots if he doesn't "man up" to the cold!
Renee,
IG's? Mini Greyhounds? They must be happy living with you in NV!
My boys love the cold weather. Hot weather makes Luke pant and not even want to go outside. Jack sticks his head in his water bowl to cool off... I think he's a confused Lab, actually.
