For much of 2011 , both median and average sales prices in Howard County were still in decline. Compared to 2010, unit sales were down 5.5% and the average sales price declined by 6.3%. Unfortunately, historically low mortgage rates were not enough to spur the market in a positive direction.
No significant changes expected in the level of housing market activity for Howard County in 2012.
The good news is that even in "this" market, when houses are priced correctly and staged for maximum appeal, they do sell quickly at today's market value.
